FAQ
Quick answers to common questions.
Which meeting platforms does the bot support? +
The bot supports Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams — all three. It is powered by Recall.ai and joins calls automatically when you paste a meeting link or connect your calendar.
Can I upload a recording instead of using the bot? +
Yes. Transcribr accepts direct file uploads (MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A), YouTube and public video URLs, and in-browser recording. The bot is one of six ways to get audio into the pipeline.
Does it connect to my calendar? +
Yes — Transcribr supports Google Calendar and Outlook OAuth. On the Team plan, calendar auto-record means every meeting on the calendar is captured automatically without any manual action.
Which AI providers does it support? +
Transcribr supports OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini. You choose your preferred provider in account settings. Paid plans also let you bring your own API key.
How does the meeting bot work? +
The meeting bot is powered by Recall.ai. You add it to a calendar event or paste a meeting link. The bot joins the call, records the audio, and feeds it into the Transcribr pipeline once the meeting ends — no manual action required.
What integrations are available? +
Current output integrations: GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Notion, Linear, Jira, and custom Webhook. Google Docs, Confluence, and Microsoft Loop are in development. You can route a single meeting to multiple integrations simultaneously.
Is there a team plan? +
Yes. The Team plan ($12/seat/month) gives shared workspaces, real-time collaborative editing, calendar auto-record for the whole team, all integrations unlocked, and 40 hours of transcription per seat.
How fast are transcriptions? +
Transcriptions typically complete within a few minutes of the meeting ending. You get a real-time status update as each step of the pipeline runs.
Can I route one meeting to multiple tools at once? +
Yes — that's one of the core features. A single meeting can simultaneously create a GitHub issue, post a Slack recap, open a Linear ticket, and update a Notion doc. Configure which outputs run per workspace or per meeting type.
Where does my audio data go? +
Audio is processed on our infrastructure and never shared with third parties. Transcripts and summaries are stored encrypted at rest and in transit. You can export or permanently delete your data from your account at any time.
Can I export my data if I leave? +
Yes. All transcripts, summaries, and generated output are exportable from your account at any time. No lock-in.
