Case files that accumulate understanding across visits.

Follow Maria managing her mother's ongoing treatment. Every appointment strengthens the case file; questions carry forward between visits.

Month 1 · initial consult

Maria opens a case file for her mother.

Maria, managing her mother's cancer treatment, creates a Case File project. The first oncology consultation is recorded with consent and lands on the timeline.

Same day

Branches fan out.

Analytical branches run: clinical summary (lay-language), clinical summary (technical), questions to verify at next visit, medication changes captured. Each is a reference artifact Maria can share or revisit.

That evening

The case file proposes itself.

Maria reviews the AI's proposed Case File: patient, timeline, active treatments, medications, contacts, open questions. She corrects a medication dose, fixes a contact, applies. The canvas is now v1.

Month 2 · follow-up

A lab report lands and generates its own branches.

A follow-up visit and an imaging appointment with a different specialist. The lab's blood panel PDF also arrives and joins the timeline — Transcribr parses it and runs two branches of its own on the document: a plain-language values summary and a flags report for anything out of range. Maria then pins a Cross-specialist consistency branch to watch all providers — live voice and filed documents alike.

Month 3 · a conflict

A contradiction surfaces.

Three months and six calls in, the Cross-specialist branch flags it: the oncologist cited a treatment window of 6-8 weeks; the radiologist, last Thursday, said 4-6. Its parallel canvas shows both, side by side. The main file doesn't know yet.

Month 3 · next appointment

Maria promotes a question into the case.

She opens the branch, sees the conflict, and merges a single open question into the case file: "clarify treatment window with Dr. Reyes — 4-6 vs 6-8 weeks." A deliberate action. The next visit has a specific thing to resolve.
